How do I update my software?

You need to download the latest release from here, you can check if pcOS needs an update by going to the Software Update application on your HOME Menu.

How do I delete my pcID?

You can delete your pcID in System Settings, however if you delete your pcID, you will need to make a new one to use pcOS.

My pcID has been banned.

If your pcID has been banned it’s typically because the Terms of Service has been broken. You will need to make a new account and accept the Terms of Service to use pcID again. However, if we find that your account has done nothing wrong the username may be reinstated and allowed to be used again.

We also reserve the right to block certain usernames. If your username is blocked, you’ll have to make a new account, however we may allow blocked usernames to change their usernames in the future.

What is pcOS Offline Mode?

pcOS Offline Mode is a version of pcOS which is intended to be used when you have no Internet connection. It limits the functionality of pcOS, but you are still required to use pcID even if you use Offline Mode.

How can I suggest for new features to be added?

You can make suggestions by going to the Issue Tracker on your HOME Menu and then making a new issue with the “suggestions” tag.
