We have got an official release date for pcOS 1.0 and it’s the 1st October 2024, on this version you won’t be able to get the pcOS App Store as that’s coming in a later version of pcOS (roughly around towards the end of October).
We’re aware that Windows Smartscreen may flag issues with pcOS, but rest assured this is just because it’s a batch file. You can view the contents of the pcOS batch file at any time.
On the 1st of October, when we launch pcOS, you can download it from the GitHub repository. Just be aware that as it’s a launch release, there may be some issues and we’d like you to report them if you find them. We also recommend developers to try and fix it themselves and let us know you did to fix the issue to help us get the update out to other people quicker.
